A two-year blended postgraduate program by the University of Siena

The International Master Program in Dental Traumatology is a highly specialized postgraduate program designed for dentists and dental specialists who wish to develop advanced expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of traumatic dental injuries.

Developed in collaboration with the University of Siena, the program combines academic excellence, evidence-based clinical education, and intensive practical training within a modern international learning environment.

Delivered entirely in English, the Master follows a blended learning format, integrating live online education with in-person hands-on training, allowing participants from around the world to continue their professional activity while attending the program.

The Master extends over two academic years and awards 120 ECTS credits.

A unique international program entirely dedicated to Dental Traumatology

Dental traumatology is one of the most demanding and interdisciplinary fields in contemporary dentistry, requiring rapid diagnosis, precise treatment planning, and long-term clinical management across multiple specialties.

The International Master Program in Dental Traumatology has been conceived as a fully dedicated vertical postgraduate pathway, offering a level of specialization rarely available within traditional university education.

Through a comprehensive and evidence-based curriculum, participants will explore every major aspect of traumatic dental injuries, from emergency management and biological healing mechanisms to regenerative procedures, interdisciplinary rehabilitation, and long-term prognosis.

Particular emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making, minimally invasive approaches, guideline-driven treatment protocols, and the integration of endodontic, periodontal, orthodontic, restorative, surgical, and implant-related perspectives.

The program also addresses the ethical, psychosocial, and medico-legal dimensions of dental trauma, promoting a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
